How to Calculate Greater Than Number?
In mathematics, the relations between two numbers are determined by equality and inequality symbols. If the first number is equal to the second number, then the equal sign (=) is used,
Similarly, if the first number is greater than the second number, greater than the”>” symbol is used, while if the first number is smaller than the second number, less than the “<” symbol is used.
Example: Check whether 2/5 is greater than 4/7 or not.
First number = 2/5 = 0.4
Second number = 4/7 = 0.5
Here, 0.4 < 0.5
Therefore, the first number 2/5 is greater than the second number 4/7.
